From a neighborhood bike parade to a visit from Frankfort’s finest, the Heritage Knolls annual block party at Heritage Knolls Park was everything a community celebration should be. And this year? We’re doing it again.
Every summer, Heritage Knolls Park becomes the heart of our neighborhood — and last year’s annual block party was proof of just how special this community can be. Neighbors young and old came together for a full day of fun, laughter, and the kind of connection that makes Heritage Knolls more than just a place to live.
The day kicked off the way every great neighborhood celebration should: with a community bike parade through the streets of Heritage Knolls. Kids decorated their bikes and rode together, parents cheered from the sidewalks, and the whole neighborhood came alive before the main event even began.
What made last year unforgettable
Once the parade rolled into Heritage Knolls Park, the fun truly began. Here’s a look back at everything that made last year’s block party a day to remember:
- Inflatable water slide
- Balloon artist — a crowd favorite with kids lined up all day long
- Face painting
- Temporary tattoos
- Neighborhood games
- Snow cone truck
- Special visit from the Frankfort Fire & Police Departments
If there was one thing that had kids buzzing all day, it was the balloon artist. A crowd favorite from start to finish, the balloon artist kept little ones entertained with an endless stream of imaginative creations — swords, animals, flowers, and more. The line never seemed to get shorter, which is about the best review an activity can get.
On a warm summer day, nothing hit quite like a stop at the snow cone truck parked right in the park. Kids and adults alike lined up for a cool treat between rounds of games and trips down the water slide — one of those small touches that made the day feel like a real summer celebration.
Another highlight was the special visit from the Frankfort Fire and Police Departments. Kids and parents got an up-close look at fire trucks and police vehicles, met the dedicated first responders who serve our community, and had a chance to say thank you to the men and women who keep Heritage Knolls safe.

A tradition worth keeping
The Heritage Knolls annual block party isn’t just a fun afternoon — it’s one of the most important events on our community calendar. It’s the day neighbors meet neighbors, kids make new friends, and the fabric of our community gets a little stronger. Last year’s event at Heritage Knolls Park drew families from across the neighborhood, and the energy was unlike anything else.
Events like this are made possible by the generous support of Heritage Knolls residents — including those who contribute to the voluntary $50 annual HOA dues. Your contributions fund the activities, supplies, and coordination that bring the block party to life each year.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Heritage Knolls annual block party will return to Heritage Knolls Park this summer.
